The numbers on the boxes indicate the working order and correspond with the numbers in this user manual.
raw materials needed for the recipe
- Freshly minced chicken filet (312,5 gram)
- Cold water
- Sweet corn from a can, drained (27,5 gram)
- Small, freshly cut sweet red pepper pieces (32,5 gram)
- Small, freshly cut onion pieces (37,5 gram)
- Mayonnaise (200 gram), if you want feel free to take a healthy option and choose a low fat or vegan version, or in case of allergies choose an allergen free version

signasalsa fiesta
In this phase you’re going to create a tasteful dip sauce that combines perfectly with the nuggets.

Weigh 200 grams of mayonaise in a bowl.

Add 15 grams of water and the sachet with DP&S SignaSalsa Fiesta.

Mix thouroughly with a whisk until the dip sauce homogeneously mixed.

It’s time to put on your gloves! You’re going to create the base of the nuggets.

Add the minced chicken filet, water and vegetables in a bowl and mix by hand.

Add the DP&S Fiesta Mix and mix until the overall color is even and everything is properly mixed together.

If needed, cool down (lightly freeze) in order to be able to make the forming easier.

Form the mixture into nuggets of desired size and weight (the formed nuggets in the picture weigh 20 grams). You can also form bigger burgers, this is up to you!

If needed, cool down (lightly freeze) the nuggets again in order to make the coating process easier.
03.

Now you’re going to prepare for the first coating step, you are going to prepare a liquid batter. The batter gives crispiness to the product and makes the BetterCoat C Tricolore stick on the nuggets.

Add the BetterCoat B GF in a bowl that is filled with 300 grams cold water.

Use a whisk to mix it into a homogeneous batter. Make sure that there are no lumps left.

Allow the batter 5 minutes of your time to rest in order to reach its best performance, and mix shortly one final time before you start the coating procedure.
04.
dp&s bettercoat c tricolore
The Tricolore BetterCoat will form the second layer and final layer of the coating. You will add crispiness, color, and taste to your nuggets and at the same time you will strengthen them and it will be easier for you to handle them.

Put the DP&S BetterCoat Tricolore into a deep plate or dish.

Dip the nuggets fully into the DP&S BetterCoat B GF batter that you have made in step 3. Allow the excess batter to leak of the nugget and transfer with a spatula into the DP&S BetterCoat C crumbs.

Make sure the whole nugget is coated with the DP&S BetterCoat C Tricolore by covering the nuggets completely with te Tricolore BetterCoat and by gently pressing the BetterCoat on the nuggets.

Now bake the nuggets in a pan on medium heat till a core temperature off 72⁰C is reached.

Let’s see who likes vegetables in chicken nuggets. In Fiesta nuggets simply delicious
The colder the nugget base, the easier to form. The colder the nuggets, the easier to coat. Just don’t freeze completely
Use one hand to dip the nuggets in the batter, use your other hand for applying the Tricolore
Feel free to use any form but make sure that you fully cook the product.
A thick product needs longer time to cook, we advise to stay with rather thin products so that the taste, color and crispiness of the coating is the best!
You can also fry the nuggets in oil. Use 180 degrees oil and fully cook in the oil
We do not recommend oven / airfryer / microwave heating
It is fun to make the nuggets together and fun to do for all ages. So, please have a lot of fun but … be careful not to cut or burn yourself!
